Dear Discovery PTSA members,

Attached is the revised meeting agenda for our March 13,
2012 meeting.  We will be unable to vote
on the executive board for the 2012-2013 school year at this meeting.  In our attempt to fill all of the positions
for next year’s board we missed the deadline for posting the slate of officers
(15 days before the vote per Washington State PTA bylaws).

Therefore we will hold a second special general PTSA meeting
to elect next year’s board.  This will be
held on March 22, 2012 at 6:30 pm in the school library.  We are sorry for any inconvenience that this
might cause.  There will not be a movie
night with this special meeting and we anticipate that it will be a 20 minute
meeting. 

The agendas for both the March 13 and March 22 meeting are
attached. 

The following is the slate of officers nominated by the
2011-2012 Nominating Committee.  You will
notice that we are still in need of members to fill some of the board
positions.  If you are interested please

The Nominating Committee has confirmed that all nominees
have been a member of a PTA for at least 30 days prior to the election, and
meet other requirements of as required by the Washington State PTA Bylaws.
