2023 Grant Recipient

CONGRATULATIONS DISCOVERY!

Did you know Discovery was awarded a grant to purchase Vox Books for library circulation to serve ALL Discovery students? These books are typical hardback picture books or chapter books with a built-in audio player that reads the books out loud in English or in a second language.

The priority is to select these audiobooks in languages that represents the cultural and language diversity of our Discovery community. We want these books to be in languages familiar to our students and families and be books our students can learn more about our cultures and languages making up Discovery! You can look at Vox Books here.

We appreciate the work Issaquah Schools Foundation does for ALL students in the Issaquah School District!

Click on the link to learn more about the Issaquah Schools Foundation as the foundation provides 'resources district-wide to help students reach the promise of their potential. We strive to be the unifying organization that enables the Issaquah School District to provide access to exceptional opportunities district-wide that ignite learning, improve educational outcomes and prepare all students to be confident, competent and engaged citizens.'

Issaquah Schools Foundation has a fundraiser and showcase coming up on Thursday, 4/27/23 if you are interested in learning more about Issaquah Schools Foundation and hearing stories of student success. More information here
